After countless espressos past through the windows of this building while in the Iowa City Fin & Feather parking lot, it has finally come to rest on my property. My plan is to convert it into a guest house. The inside dimensions are 6' 4 1/2" wide by 9' 4" long, with a ceiling height of 7' 10". Not exactly the Taj Mahal, but definitely shelter from the elements.
I've considered replacing the hip roof with a 7/12 gable roof that would provide 2' overhangs and space for a loft. I have a window A/C, and I've ordered an 11,000BTU Eskabe direct-vent heater ( http://www.asapheat.com/eskabe.htm). Expect to receive the heater by end of October.
